WISCONSIN HIGH 50th REUNION
Pete and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary last December. We sold our last business in 2002. We share our time between our home in Tomahawk, Wis. for the summers and Vail, Co. for the winters.
We have 3 grown children ( all 3 of our kids are graduates of UW Madison) and 5 grandchildren. Keith (turning 50 this month) his wife Jan and 2 boys reside in White Bear Lake, Minn. Gavin 17 to be a senior next year and working on colleges, Connar to be 13 in July going into 8th grade. Both boys very active in hockey and lacrosse. Kieth and Jan own and operate 2 marinas, one on the Mississippi and one on White Bear lake. Laurie (48) and husband Morgan reside in Plymouth Minn. No children, just cats and very successful careers. Laurie is an inventory specialists and product manager. She works for a company that supplies the bins for the “C Spot” for Target. Morgan is a senior business analyst for Upshir-Smith. Brenda (43) her husband Paul and 3 children reside in Plainfield, Il. Brenda is with Thrivent Financial Services and Paul is HR Director for a cement company in the Chicago area. Paul Jr. 17 to be a senior and working on colleges, active in golf and wrestling. He is built like his grandpa Pete, very muscular and strong. Rebecca Joanna (our only granddaughter)14 entering high school, loves writing (has won a number of young author competitions). By the way, she is 5′ 9″ and very athletic (she did not take after her grandmother). John 9 is going into 4th grade and is just a very happy 9yr old.
We enjoy golf (our home in Tomahawk is across the street from a golf course), riding The Harley, snow skiing and spending as much time as we can with our grandchildren.
Lost my brother Randy (class of ’63) to lung cancer at the age of 56. It’s just my sister Emily (class of “58) and myself as both parents are deceased.
Our 50 years have been a great journey together. We have been very fortunate.
Sorry I can’t make the reunion; we will be riding our Harley to Sturgis!!!!
